The Pankratz restaurant embodies craftsmanship, calmness, and simplicity, sourcing all ingredients from local partners and catering to a discerning, exploratory clientele.

I led the entire design journey for this project, handling concept development, visual design, technical implementation, and photography. The resulting design aligns seamlessly with the refined cuisine and sophisticated interior, creating a cohesive brand experience.

The approach emphasizes restraint and clarity: minimal elements, strong visuals, and typography that prioritizes readability. Logos are simple, messaging avoids gimmicks, and the focus remains on the ingredients themselves. Accessibility considerations guided choices around typography, contrast, and layout to ensure content is easy to consume for all visitors.

A central design motif, the double arrow, functions as a versatile pictogram, visual anchor, and navigational guide. Its geometric yet open form conveys energy and reflects the exploratory nature of the cuisine.

On the website, all elements work in harmony: expansive visuals, a full-width menu band, essential information, reservation options, and subtle visual accents. The design creates a sense of calm and thoughtful pacing, extending the restaurant’s ethos into the digital space.
